Donate NowKind Hearts Orphanage Home began during one of the coldest winters in Chicago. A group of volunteers discovered several children sleeping inside abandoned buildings after losing their parents due to domestic violence, drug abuse and homelessness.
One little girl named Emily was only 7 years old when she arrived at our shelter holding her younger brother’s hand. She had not eaten properly for days and believed nobody cared about them anymore. Today, Emily is back in school, healthy and dreaming of becoming a doctor.
Stories like Emily’s are why Kind Hearts exists. Every donation helps provide shelter, food, clothing, medical care, education and emotional support for vulnerable children across Chicago.
Many children arrive at our home severely malnourished. Your support helps us provide nutritious meals and clean drinking water every single day.
